The primary goal of Occupational Therapy (OT) at Rainbow Child Development Center & Special School is to help children achieve independence in their daily functional activities, often referred to as “occupations” of childhood (such as playing, learning, and self-care). If your child struggles with holding a pencil, buttoning a shirt, feeding themselves, or reacting strongly to certain sounds and textures, our OT program can make a life-changing difference.

Our highly trained occupational therapists specialize in Sensory Integration Therapy to help children process sensory information effectively, reducing meltdowns and anxiety. We work on enhancing fine motor skills, bilateral coordination, and visual-perceptual skills through structured, fun, and purposeful play. We also collaborate closely with parents, providing them with home-based strategies to ensure that the progress made in the clinic translates seamlessly into the child’s everyday life at home and school.
